Skyline Bel Air Public Home Page
Skyline Bel Air Estates in the beautiful desert foothills about 10 miles north of downtown Tucson, Arizona began development in 1964 on over 600 acres of an old cattle ranch used in filming westerns. Today we are a community of hilly, winding roads running up and down some lovely ridges of the Sonoran Desert right at the base of the Catalina Mountains at an altitude of 2600-3000 feet. We have fantastic views of the city lights to the south and the Catalinas on our northern doorstep, surrounded by four mountain ranges. We're a wonderful scenic location for walking and biking.
Skyline Bel Air residents have access to our terrific recreation center. Homeowners enjoy a junior olympic size pool, tennis courts, basketball court and ramada pavilion. We host a neighborhood swim team and the ramada is available for private parties.
Our community of 454 homes is located in District 16, Catalina Foothills School District, which is considered one of the very best in the state of Arizona and draws from a small geographic area. It is one of the prime reasons families desire homes here.
We are located about 16 miles north of the airport, just north of the intersection of Swan Road and Sunrise Drive and 15 miles east and north of Interstate 10. Convenient neighborhood shopping, restaurants and services lie within 1/2 mile from our community entrance.
